Releasing evolutions doesn't improve rates; if anything, it reduces the rates, as evolutions shouldn't be catchable in yards. You'd be much better off only releasing the base forms (e.g. 15 Bagon instead of 5 Bagon/5 Shelgon/5 Salamence).
