Gamer's Playground

Hello!

Now we're all using the computer so I'll safely assume we're all hardcore gamers.
Here we'll talk about all video games, from as early as the atari, sega, dreambox, to as modern as the Wii, X-Box, PS3 and PC.

We'll discuss games, recommend games, and talk about the games that inspired us, some like obscure games, some the 10/10 magazine rated.
And some just like to kill time :P, whatever it is we'll dive into.

Of course we're not allowed to talk about online games, as that would count as advertising.

Other than that have fun, tell us what's your current favourite, and what console you like best, let the wars begin :P

I personally like the Play station releases, but my first ever was the atari, those days were golden, irreplaceable, I still remember most of the games
Mario, Elevator, some helicopter game, sky attack, paperboy, bomber man, battle tank, Contra, some tree climbing ninja game, tetris.

I don't know most of the names in English, but damn those days we stayed up late, sneaking had it's thrill.

Then I moved on to Sega and others, pretty much same games but some new ones too.
After that Nintendo 64.
A console still with me to this day, and the games are breath taking, Zelda: Ocarina of time (which I played while exams were on), Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Pokemon.

If I had to choose an all time favourite.
It would be a small unknown game called Vandal Hearts.
A game released in 1997, an RPG turn based.
But don't let that fool you, what caught me first was the story, epic, plots / comedy / romance, filled with everything, things you will never understand.
Because the game story that you play will be set after a "Revolution" and there are hidden events that happened in the past, hidden civilizations and cultures, that are hinted in the game, I only noticed after I replayed, but the mystery, the simplicity, that's this game's power.

I really recommend you play this game, there has been 2 others released, Vandal Hearts II & Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgement
II is on the PS1, I only got to play it for a few hours till it broke, I cried.
Couldn't find 1 or 2 anymore, searched everywhere. Flames of Judgement Is on PS3 and X-Box but to weak reviews on both.
The newbies who never played Vandal Hearts loved the game and said it was an amazing old school RPG, but we the veterans clearly saw it was no match for Vandal Hearts 1.

Anyways, those are my stories and favourites, what about you? :D

I congratulate you for being the only poster so far, maybe it's cause it's New years and everyone's out partying.
But we are GAMERS, they'll never understand 8)

My friend recommended that too, I played the first one for a while.

I recommend playing halo 4 its a really good game , the new trilogy bgins with a new developer 343 industories and bungie has departed after thier final halo game (halo:reach). Hali 4 has massive imlrovements from previous halo games I must say they did hell of a worj abd they did good too. Although many people critize halo franchise its actually a decent game if you play it.
