This is a guide to connecting to IRC, for anyone who wants to use their own client or for those who can't get the in game or forum links to work.

Basic Server Connection Information
This is the basic connection info needed to connect using anything that utilizes IRC.

Port: 6667, 6668 or 6669 (for SSL connection use port 6697)
Channels: #pba,#pbatrades,#pba-international
For Pokemon Elites, the channel is #pe

Connecting through the main mibbit website:
Mibbit appears to be the preferred web client for this game, so here's the guide for connecting to our channels through mibbit's main website. This is useful if the mibbit widgets are giving problems.

Port 6697 is the SSL connection, but it is the only one that seems to work with the main mibbit site right now.

5. Fill in all the other info such as your nick and channels. If your nickname is registered, press the Auth link at the top to get the password box to appear.

6. Now you can press the Connect button and join all the channels.
