Couple of questions regarding the new global ranks.

On what basis or merit is your rank awarded?

By which means can one increase rank?

Global Rank is now determined by a mix of Total Battle Wins and Total Uniques. So in order to increase your rank, you ought to get more of either/both of these.

Cheers Ash!

Another Question..I believe there used to be a My Pokedex page that showed which pokemon one had obtained. Ever since the update for rank to be co-awarded on the basis of possesion of uniques I've had the urge to actually start catching what I don't have. So..has the custom Pokedex matrix/ list being removed, because I'm failing to find it anywhere?

There was a pokedex that had all pokemon listed on a page with a pokeball next to the name, but that doesn't exist anymore. The general pokedex does have what you need though. There's a Pokeball under the sprites on the right side of the page.

Thanks REM!! Thought it may've been the case.

Didn't see that!

My Pokedex was an efficient checklist reference, I think it displayed something like 50 seperate pokemon specials collections per page so now when it's done individually, it's gonna be a bit of a bummer. It is what it is but it'll do for now, cheers for the info bud!

Although there was a separate Pokédex for this, I wouldn't have called it 'efficient'. Once you'd obtained a Pokémon, let's say a Shiny Pikachu, it would have produced a Pokéball on the Pikachu row under the Shiny column, and +1 to your uniques count.

However, if you sold/traded that Shiny Pikachu away, the Pokéball would have remained! So your uniques count would go down by 1, but this wouldn't be synced with the My Pokédex page.

I made myself an Excel Spreadsheet to monitor my uniques progress :P

I think it's still like that, and I think it's intentional. In the real pokemon world, your pokedex doesn't go based off what you have :p I think that's why the two were fused together.

Yeah, it's still the same now. I get the point behind it, but it does make unique collecting that little bit harder.

Why is it that the level of the Unova ELite Four is just easy-normal when in fact their pokemons are all well beyond level 50? :!

That would be a mistake on my part. They're supposed to be Normal-Hard, if i recall correctly. I'll speak to the person sorting these out when i next see them. Thanks for bringing it up :)
