I have always hoped (and am currently working towards) being a computer Games designer, and one of the first things you need to do to improve the quality of a game is obtain some details about the users. Finding out the power of the internet connection can help kyro to create a better game or even add some more settings to make the game run smoother of lower internet speeds while still improving the game for those who have higher internet speeds.

I would like to find out your internet speed and this is how you do it:

First go to http://www.speedtest.net/

choose a location closest to where you are geographically( it should automatically find the colest if not just choose the closes diamond/star to you)


click BEGIN TEST

You will then see a short animation where the program collects information about the speed of your upload and download speeds.

ping is s small series of data parcels called 'packets' and it itmes how long it takes for one packet to reach its destination and for the device to send one back. the larger ping means the slower it takes the information to travel from PBA servers to your computer and makes PBA run slower.
