Eh, if I can, I don't know how to do it. Meta will probably know. I tried it and all it did was combine the Leafeon and Glaceon layers.

I use IrfanView for transparent sprites.
It is a simple program.

I'm new to this too. I use IrfanView and Paint (and patience ;) ).

Go to Layers>Transparency> Alpha Channel. Then use the Fuzzy Select Tool, select the white and hit delete. Do this for all the layers. Or you can just make a new layer with transparency and paste in a TRANSPARENT sprite. Chris, what site for sprites do you use? Technically they aren't renders, but sprites with transparency? Eh, doesn't hurt to use Google to find your answers... http://lmgtfy.com/?q=GIMP+transparency+
Broags: Well, Chris already has a program that is compatible with transparency...

I'll try that out, I was using Colors -> Color to Alpha for it, coloring the background an off the wall color to ensure nothing else would be transparent. I'm not clicking that link either :P

I'm assuming that your asking me to make a Ditto Avatar??
How do you want it to look? (I mean like, sprites of Ditto, Renders of Ditto, etc.)

Looks like he wants it to transform into another pokemon...

Anyway, I can't seem to get this right. The white bg on the Eevee won't go away (assuming it is because it is the base layer), and they just stack on top of each other :?

I'm tempted to try putting transparencies on each sprite before putting it together, remaking it with the transparencies already set. Hoping that will do the trick.

Okay, that method worked. Thanks for the help Meta. I just need to get the sprites a different way (used the game sprites from Bulbapedia), when I set the transparencies it messed up the outline on all of them (except the Umbreon, I did that one different) because when you copy a sprite from bulbapedia it gives it a black bg >.>
